- Nicely put, with just one or two holes. IBM is in as big a pile of
- doggy doos, as any one else. Thousands of staff laid off, DEC are the
- same. Compaq et al are doing OK out of IBMs old stomping ground, the PC,
- but IBM is trying, as quickly as possible, to jump off the IBM created,
- and now Microslothe and Infel led PC bandwagon.
-
- Who was one of the main parties involved in the building of the PPC
- family of processors, in fact who started the ball rolling? These are
- not the actions of a company that is happy with the state of the current
- PC market. And actions speak louder than words, something many of us
- tend to forget.
